Ahhh. Almost ready for the road trip….

I changed the oil in my Jeep, and got the A/C working properly, in preparation for my road trip. I’ve never mentioned my Jeep, so a little history is in order: I bought it new in 1999, a black Wrangler with a tan top, 5 speed manual, (I don’t count automatic Jeeps as real Jeeps) 4.0 inline six. It’s a great car. I actually got ill at the thought of selling it once. I’ll probably have it when I die.

The road trip will be about 4 days, going to visit my Younger brother, and my Older half brother. The odd part of the trip, however, is that I’ve decided to go to Kelley, Iowa, to place a call in one of the last remaining phone booths. Odd? Yes. Out of character for me? No. Not at all.
